Macs, Ringtones, and Halo! OH MY!

Specimen: Adam Carrico

Alias: AC-91

Mood: Frustrated/Mad

LOL OK I am frustrated/mad and the whole alias and specimen thing is a really long story. Anyway yesterday for some reasons Freeservers.com was blocking me out of my site! I have heard complaints of the same thing from others, but now I'm in. I actually posted a whole post yesterday in HTML, but it wouldn't let me save! GRRRRR.....anyway I will totally throw away last post, but will recycle the ideas...

I will also be adding titles to my posts reminescent of people like Sarah Lane, Kevin Rose, and Alex Albrechts sites. BTW Kevin has thebroken.org back on its way!!!!!! I haven't checked it out but it was on Dan's site and Kevin said stuff about it, and he got ,000 of donations for it! I bet this will rock!

Anyway, Happy B-day Martin Luther King Jr.! We thank you for stuff, but mostly a day from school! I went to Cyberia with two anonymous "specimens" under my command which we will codename Rynoman and mp93 to protect the (and guilty) We played Halo 2 as usual and I kinda felt sorry for them, me beating the crap out of them and stuff...until "TAK" came along. He's good, and gave quite a challange to me and my reign! I beat him and he beat me a few times. When he beat me it was because my controller was sabotaged and the right - tick was messed up [mutter] generic controller... [/mutter] so I got a new one and lost no more games! Even though we only played one more after that...but anyway. A guy came along by the name of "Ace" and tried me. Even though he came in second and third a few times he never could top me or Tak! Well, Tak left and it was me, Ace, and my two drones left. First to 50 on Coagulation a.k.a. Gulch. I ended up winning by four, but it would have been five if Ace didn't betray me while I was on the phone...But, I am still reigning champ! Anyone wanting to challange me e-mail me at postmaster@starwarsgeek.4t.com with the subject line "Halo Killer" and I will find a time with you at Cyberia or good ol' Halo 1 on PC. Whenever I get Xbox Live I will play ya'll there.

Long paragraph....breath...breath...

OK have you all been seeing those cell phone wallpapers and ringtones ads on TV? I've seen them on formerly known as TechTV and Comedy Central. Whats up with this? Has anyone tried it? I wonder if you get the first one free and then cancel it to keep one :S so confusing!

Speaking of free stuff I heard the people of freeipods.com (this has been proven to work by people i know not to lie) are making a place for free mac mini's. Now www.freeipods.com does NOT work on my computer so I don't know if this one will either, but if someone tries it e-mail me please and tell me something!

Wow what a long time since my last post! I haven't been on the computer since Sunday! I have apologies set out for two games I bashed the other day. Oh yeah and I saw Mercenaries is getting pretty good reviews and looks like a game at least worth a rental...(I will of course because of the publisher...LucasArts!!!) It is said to be a Grand Theft Auto free-roaming type game set in Korea and with a war and lots of explosions.

KOTOR 2: Yesterday I bashed it...hard. But I should have given it a longer look at. Once I got past the "Get off this stupid ship and go somewhere" stages it got OK. I admit the slowness stayed with me until I got off this ship and far from it on Telos. There I did the required missions (Pick the Ithroians cause they look way cooler!) and most of the optional ones (Save the guys Twi'lek friend come on!) I went to the cantina and got hooked. It has pazaak, which is kind of like a complicated version of Blackjack, and music (with the poor guys Twi'lek friend dancing lol) and the favorite mine SWOOP RACING! It doesn't use real swoops or anything, just speeders but its really fun. I got off Telos and the "Out in the open" and "Go find so-and-so...outside" missions were fun. More battle and for the first time in the game I actually died! Sad, but good. I would give this game a 9.7 out of 10.

Republic Commandos. The reason I couldn't see anything was my TV. I moved my Xbox into another room and KAZAAM there was a health meter and all that. And I figured out how to command my team-mates and that helps a TON. This game when it comes out will be worth a buy (or long rental)

All for now

Hello all! What a beautiful day! Oh wait, it's been raining for the past week now! Oh well. I got something in the corkboard from Manny wanting to know what I used to make the site. I use a freeservers server and I am using their Templetes made out for me already, but HTMLing it for everything else. Go to www.freeservers.com for more info. It is really easy for anyone new to it and you will get better until you learn some stuff with HTML and junk.

I rented Knights of the Old Republic II last night for my Xbox. And for a sequel to last years game of the year and it being a Star Wars game, I was kind of dissipointed. I am only on the first level, but already it seems like im a caveman with this hunting and gathering going on. But so far all i've hunted are these stupid droids and gathered computer spikes over and over again. To much looking for stuff to open a door with more stuff to fix something that will open another door for you. It's not really my kind of game YET! Maybe after a few level and I get to fight it will be cool.

The game also came with a demo. Republic Commandos! Another Star Wars game that's and FPS like Battlefront or Halo! I was so excited I played it before KOTOR 2. And.....I didn't dig it completely. The reason is, they don't give you a thing with what the buttons do, so I had to figure it out. When I started playing it was fun, but I couldn't find my health or ammo meters! I looked all over the screen and everything. Might be a glitch in my game or something, but It might not be my #1 wanted game for 2005 (besides Resident Evil 4) if I can't see anything properly...

Sad, but perservering,

I beat Halo 2! Sorry for the long wait for a post, but Halo 2 took up every second of my time! And the ending really is bad! Total cliffhanger! But, I had that great since of "Thank me again human race, for I saved you...again." during the credits. I bought it and the Xbox (and the Xbox is really cool) with some extra money from return gifts and some other money. I'm planning on making my collection expand to a new controller, Fable, Kotor 1 and 2, and a few others.

Now back to Halo 2. I knew the multi-player experience was gonna be cool, but the single player is awesome too! The cut-scenes (even though a little buggy) are long and movie-like (hear that Hollywood MOVIE LIKE! LIKE A HALO MOVIE!!!) and the action is really cool. I don't wanna give any spoilers, but you will be suprised (and mad!) at some returning and some new things. Oh yeah, and one more thing which I wont tell you, but be prepared for a little more Covenant that you and obey you. Once you play it around level 4 or so you will see and near the end you will see some odd things with the new Covenant species the Brutes. That's all for now, but I will be back now that Halo 2 is done...

January 1, !*!2005!*!

Wow! It's 2005 already! Last night we did the countdown thing and all that, but it wasn't until like 1:30 or something that I was like "Wow! It's 2005 already!" Tommorow I'm gonna start a new page called Trivia. It'll have trivia questions from different subjects including Star Wars, Halo, and other junk that you are supposed to know from school! It will be in Alpha status right now, but soon I will hope for some contests! And I re-named this section "Blog" because that is what it is...

Anyway we played a few hours of America's Army, few hours of Halo, and a few hours of Star Wars Battlefront. Even though we were lagging and in one server everyone quit because we fragged them to fast and they can't handle a little challange!

Do you all have New Years resolutions? I have a few. I usually don't think about it until the day after lol so I thought early this year. Well I'm downloading the update for Battlefront so I can log into multiplayer and kill some Gungans! And it has that new map of Jabba's Palace, which I'm hoping is fun because it needs and indoor level (not to be confused with Endor...HA HA HA) Pun not intended not that really matters! (Right Ryan and Neil lol!)

Hope your year turn out all awesomely like

Wow! Already the last day of the year! Well I don't have as much as I planned for today's post, but I have an awesome link if you love cool pictures and Star Wars or if you just wanna see some neat artistry. It is a link to The Force Net's Fan Art section and they are awesome! A few of the pictures newly put in the Gallery are from it. (e.g. Baby Grievous) Look in the Epsode Three part first unless you one of those "Spoiler Free 'till Ep 3" people...Then look at the others. Go check out the rest of theforce.net and register for the forums and talk to other star wars fanatics! Like me!

I also spent 3 hours of Halo 2 fun and about killed my fingers!

Halo 2 tip #1 - I recomend getting your "friend" in a wraith (BIG HUGE COVENANT TANK) and getting really close to him/her and jacking him/her before he/she realizes you are on them. Throwing s in it is cool to, but punching/scraping (depending on if your Covenant/Spartan) them to is awesome too. But, watch out if he/she finds out what your doing they could jump out and punch/scrape you/themselves while you are trying to punch/scrape him/her.

Happy New Year!

OK The site's Guest Book has been a little bit messed up the past day. I have been working on it and their are a few double posts (No biggie I can fix) and the title on the blue thingy was "Untitled" then the other title was "Photo Page" I fixed them but if anyone is experiencing problems with it please report them to webmaster@starwarsgeek.4t.com and It will be fixed. If you posted in the Guest Book and your name is not there, re-post because most likely I was fixing it and saved right after you did yours and it copied over it. I should've said to wait or brough the page down temporarily but whatever.

P.S. I'll post the links tommorow because today I'm going to Cyberia , www.cyberiagaming.com for more info, and I'll be working on this.

Well I went to the mall yesterday to get stuff and I ran out of money with all the cool stuff! I should've brought more! The new Star Wars Miniatures Series 2 is out and I had to buy it! Then I saw the new Electronic Gaming Montly and grabbed it. These things kept happening and then I looked and I had only left! I did see a few friends there and some cousins. I saw my cousins Madison, Rylee, Peyton, Isaac, and their parents. I saw Ryan V., half of the Paynes, and Manny! And it wasnt even crowded there! I'm going to Cyberia today to play some Halo Dos. If anyone wants to join me do!

Oh yeah I got some cool info I can't tell you yet and I'm gonna have a cooly link tommorow for ya'll. Now I'm going back to level up my Red Mage!

Your probably wondering where I was the past few posts... I was right here at home. One reason. Final Fantasy! I got a Nintendo DS for Christmas (for those who don't know what it is there is a picture of one in my Photo section) and It's in laymans terms (is that how you spell lamens? Or laimans?) the new Gameboy. It has two screens, DS means Dual Screen. I got Super Mario 64 DS to play on it and it rocks. The game is good but how the DS handles it is even cooler. I also got a Game Boy Advance game I've been wanting. Final Fantasy 1 and 2 Dawn of Souls. It's a re-make of the classic not-so-final fantasy. Since FF 12 is coming soon they are thinking...20 later and the old ones are still great...lets re-release them. Besides the normal 1, 2, 3, 4, and so on there are other final without numbers and double numbers (Final Fantasy X2 or the second version of FF 10) anyway its so freaking addicting! I thank Square Enix for this marvelous creation and I'm gonna buy the FF 3 remake for the DS when it comes out.

I know I could say I got this I got that but I'm boiling it down to a few things. A DS. Super Mario 64 DS. Final Fantasy 1 and 2. Some Star Wars comics (one from 1979!) and more Star Wars stuff. And other stuff but it would drag on for ya too much.

Well, What did you get for Christmas? I wanna know! Put it in the corkboard @ www.starwarsgeek.4t.com/corkboard/ under the other juicy gossips section. The coolest and most unique ones (if anyone actually comes to this site) will be posted.

Christmas Eve!

Well I didn't post yesterday cause our heat is out and I was freezing! We are getting it fixed right at this moment, but I'm still cold and it's hard to type this!

Anyway I won't post tommorow either cause if you didn't know it's Christmas and well, ya know! I have this cool thing I got on the net that Princess Leia said on the one hour only Holiday Special. It's really about Life Day which is orginally a wookie tradition, but most other significant beings partake in this event also. It's the Star Wars equivalent to the holidays.

This holiday is yours but, we all share with you
the hope that this day brings us closer to freedom,
and to harmony, and to peace.
No matter how different we appear, we're all the same
in our struggle against the powers of evil and darkness.
I hope that this day will always be a day of joy
in which we can reconfirm our dedication and our courage.
And more than anything else, our love for one another.
This is the promise of the Tree of Life.

Princess Leia, Star Wars Holiday Special

Happy Holidays!!!

Snow...Snow. That's all today was...snow. Not a lot done today, but The Screen Savers (gotta love 'em) showed a re-run of a re-run today. (they show the previous nights episode during the day) I found this really cool ASCII site where they made movies using ASCII! That's like making pics with your text. Like all the gaming walkthroughs use for the game and make you say "That's pretty neat!" Well this site has clips from movies in great detail! Here it is http://www.romanm.ch/index.php?var1=text/ascii-movies-text&var2=text/titel/ascii-movies I recomend the Matrix and Spiderman ones they really show it off, but all the other ones are cool too!

OK I did have these good deals I saw on The Screen Savers last night (re-run), but everytime I posted the links to them the page froze and messed up. So I'll just tell you the deals :D One is a 512 mb thumbdrive from Amazon and I bet if you look around you can find it. Another is a deal for .99 Season 1 DVD sets at DVDempire.com. Check them out.

Speaking of TSS I talked to Alex Albrecht on Star Wars Galaxies yesterday. He is really cool. He was a host on TSS for a little while, but a huge layoff happened and he was on the list. Now TSS isn't as good, but oh well. You can find out more about him at his site http://alexalbrecht.typepad.com/alex/ When I tell you to do something, do it! :D
